I don't have too many pictures of Jonathan and me but this sure is a good one. He hasn't been sleeping a lot during the days lately making hm extra tired at night.

busy busy
Haven't had time to post much although I have some very funny pictures I need to get up of Jonathan sleeping in the car with a crazy hair-do.. So you can look forward to that.
Edith is taking a summer school class at the local college to get some stuff cleared so she can apply for a program at another school in regards to nursing. So that means Monday-Thursday, 6pm - 9pm it is just Jonathan and me. Time to put on my SuperDad outfit.

Cheeka....
Jonathan called Chiquita Cheeka today. Couldn't get him to do it again but Edith was there and we both heard it and had a good laugh.
A day at Disneyland
This was Jonathan's first full day at Disneyland, I didn't do anything to special with the video just some clips from itty bitty camera and a few photos, enjoy!

Family Photo
Forgot to blog this, it is from Saturday. It was a nice trip to the Huntington Beach pier, it marked the first time Jonathan had ever seen the ocean.

All Aboard
We were at Disneyland at 10 am this morning and stayed till 8pm. It was our first full day with Jonathan and it went very well. He is a super baby, even when we got stuck in a line and the sun was beating downon us he kept from having a fit. After we got into the Haunte Mansion he was so tired from the heat he actually fell asleep during the ride! He also went on Pirates, he was more interested in the people behind us than what was going on around us.
I have posted a whole bunch of photos, and will work on putting together some short video clips I shot. But we all had a great time and it was a great way to close out our extended weekend and say goodbye to Grandparents Williams.

Happy Fathers Day
So much to say, so many photos to post. But today is Fathers day so before I start posting about our trip to the pier or our own little Commisioning BBQ I wanted to post this picture.
It was cool to have my dad here for fathers day, especially because it was my very first time to celebrate the day as a father myself.

What a day
Today was CRAZY. I went golfing this morning, had my best front 9 ever with 2 pars and a birdy. I know that isn't a big WOW for golf but for me it was great. The back 9 wasn't as magical but still not bad, it didn't help that my shoes fell apart with 3 holes to go.
Then there was the big rush home, Edith and I ate, Jonathan ate and we rushed off to Disneyland. We won 2 preview tickets for the new ride Toy Story Mania. You ride in a little cart and shoot at screens, a lot like buzz lightyear the ride but you wear 3D glasses and things fly at you pop out and all kinds of cool things. What I haven't mentioned yet is we left the house at 2 and had to be there by 3....we made it at 2:50 after literally running through California Adventure to get to the boardwalk in the back of the park.....
Jonathan sorta kinda enjoyed the ride. Towards the end we were sitting and not moving, and with all the loud noise and flashing lights he just wanted to be held, the ride demanded he sit between us because it had pull down bars due to some tight turns and spinning.
So once again I will say....what a day!

lil' samson
We have often called Jonathan Popeye, it isn't just because he is so big,(although Popeye was short, strength and size are often tied together) but he is so STRONG. He has a killer grip, once he gets a hold of something, like sunglasses or as seen in this picture a comb it really does take some work to take it away from him. At first I was like, well I'm not really trying because I don't want to hurt him, or what he is holding, but then I realize....nope he is too strong for me! :)
Obviously with the title of this post being "lil' samson" you must have noticed our strong little guy with his long locks. No they aren't too curly, although there are some spots that look wavy at times. A haircut is in his future, but just a trim.
Next month he is 9 months old. That is CRAZY...8 months seems a lot closer to 6, 9 seems way to close to 12!

my ears fit
Jonathan is all set for a trip to Disneyland. YIPPY! I know he gets to go a lot more than most kids...in fact he goes more than most adults, but this will be a very special visit. Jonathan will be going to Disneyland with mom, dad, AND Grandma and Grandpa Williams!

In the Back Yard
A rare, Jonathan and Daddy photo. I came home on Friday to find the party in the back yard. Jonathan was enjoying his yard, Edith was watching and playing, and Chiquita kept jumping on poor old Bella.

B-Day 8 months!
It is hard to believe that Jonathan is 8 months old already. It seems like just the other day we were visiting Grandma and Grandpa Williams in Reno, I shake my head in disbelief that it was 5 months ago. We are very much looking forward to them coming down for Commissioning weekend.
We got this inflatable play gym for Jonathan, the idea is it will go outside on the weekends and we can hang out in the shade. I blew it up tonight just to check it out, pretty cool. Really need to get a pump that works on it, the one we have just won't do. Jonathan had fun playing in it for a bit, but I had to put it away as it takes up the entire open space in the living room!
