J.D. was born October 2nd at 7:13 pm at St. Joseph Hospital in Orange He weighed 8.5 pounds Was 19.5 inches long. Due to his size Edith had to have a c-section. She is slowly recovering, in some pain but not anything beyond what would be expected.
The worse part is that we went in Monday Night and took all day today trying to induce. We got the strong painful contractions, but not the dialation, eventually the doctor said enough and Jonathan is here! Because of the lack of private rooms Edith is in a room with a second bed, and although nobody is in that bed hospital rules say I can't stay the night. So I am home, eating some Taco Bell, and posting this. I will be back at the hospital early tomorrow morning. Thank you all for your prayers.

We are back at home already. Edith is resting, baby is asleep and I am typing away, trying to keep you all updated. Baby is doing well, although he isn't very happy with me since I sent him off with the doctor and asked them to "snip the tip".
