Time is moving fast

Not sure what happened to the last month, but we are 8 days away from 4 months. WOW. Of course I am still counting the days till the ultrasound. But time does seem to be going pretty fast, mostly because I kept so busy getting ready for Youth Councils, and now the SoCal Celebration, so 5 months will be here before I know it.

Also looking forward to a family vacation in late May.

A LONG WEEKEND

It was a very long weekend, but another Youth Councils is over. I couldn't have done it without the help of Edith, from taking pictures for the Youth Department, she is very good at it, to helping me display lyrics for the praise team in the meetings, she is always a big help. Plus it is one of those weekends where she gives me the moral support that I need to make it through.

I was up till 4:30 AM on Saturday Night working on the rewind video, which will be up on the youth departments myspace time sometime this weekwww.myspace.com/scy411. Plus some other videos I made for the weekend.

Now I can go back to taking care of her after she took care of me all weekend. We got to see our friends (Captains) Mario and Claudia Ruiz, and their super cute newborn Emily. I held her for awhile, dancing a little, she shot me a big smile, then I remembered...wow I am going to have one of these very soon.

Still awhile till we find out the sex of the baby, but getting closer to getting to hear the heartbeat again. The little machine we got is okay, but still it is hard to tell what it is we are hearing. Edith is now debating if SHE wants to know the sex of the baby. But no matter what I AM GOING TO KNOW!!! She claims that she would be okay with me knowing and letting certain family members know...so we will see. I told her she wouldn't be able to handle me knowing and her not knowing, but I didn't "dare" her, because then she will do it just to prove me wrong.

That sounds goofy.

So Edith and I were looking at names a little, trying decide if we like what we first thought of, or if there is anything even better out there. After I started acting like a "goof", a comment something like, "Your going to be a goofy baby", was said, the next thing I knew we had the name.

Goofy Williams.

Why didn't I think of it before???? Probably because it is ridiculous and would never be really considered, but it gave us a really good laugh.

Small Baby Clothes

Edith has warned me over and over again about not getting small clothes...and she loves the validation she receives from family, Tricia, Ronalee, Mom, etc.

I get it, I do, but some of that itty bitty baby stuff is so cute. YET... I do resist, who knows how big the baby will be. So yes, we get the 6 months and up stuff.

We did get a jumper from disney, on the front is the image on the right, in red, just to play it safe! On the back bum it says "poop deck"! HA HA HA!!!!!

No News

Sorry no news to really speak of. I am anxiously awaiting the next doctors appointment, I plan on recording the heartbeat so EVERYONE can hear it. So you have that to look forward to next month.

Other than that everything is cool, I am "working" on taxes, and by that I mean PAYING taxes, another reason I will be a HAPPY DADDY this time of year next year. :)

Lots of cute baby clothes and little things out there, but leaving that up to family and friends, have to start looking for a crib, and bedroom stuff. I dig these cribs that convert into other cribs, if anybody has experience with them, good or bad, leave me a comment.

Bump Bump..WOSSSHHHHHH

Today Edith and I heard the heartbeat of our baby. It was awesome, at first, nothing, then..BAM!!!!!!!

So this Friday is 3 months, 2 months to go until the first ultrasound and finding out the sex of the baby.

Life is good here, we are healthy, I had been pretty sick the last couple weeks. So now we are really getting the opportunity to enjoy what is going on.

New Appointment

Got a new appointment, Thursday morning. YIPPY!!!!!

Can you hear me now?

So we were at Target and I saw this "Heart to Heart Prenatal Listening System". Of course I had to by it!! It's hard to tell if we are hearing the heartbeat or just the rumbling of the stomach, but there definitely is a difference between my belly and Edith's. We "think" we heard what "might" be the heartbeat, but who knows at this point.

We were suppose to have the next doctors appointment on Tuesday but we have to reschedule, apparently the doctor will be in surgery, HOW RUDE! :) We will update the blog after we get to see the doctor, hopefully this week.
