We went to Disneyland today, walked through the gate and there was Cruella Deville. Not to many people seemed to be interested to have their picture taken so we walked right up and I snapped a photo. Goofy was also out front so most people were making their way in his direction.
I think that the villian characters have the best job at Disneyland, they get to be so rude and it just gets a laugh. Only Cruella can get away with telling a parent to get a "leash on that thing", in reference to their kid!
Tonight I read "The Magic Grinder" to Jonathan, one of my favorites as a kid, thanks again Tricia for finding it and letting me have it! :)

Walking...sorta
I hope to get a video posted to this post sometime soon, just have to get it uploaded. But Jonathan can really cruise on the wood floors in his walker.
Edith and Jonathan are feeling better, they had been sick. Now I am sick though, yuck. So the goal is for me to get better without them getting sick again. I had a really long day on Thursday with work, and I guess my body finally gave in, unfortunatelly that happens to me a lot. Funny thing was I really didnt do that much this time, mostly drive around in a golf cart all day filming other people play golf at the Trump course in Palos Verdes. But there was also a lot of walking, getting over to people playing golf, that kind of thing.
Other than that not too much going on, glad to have a weekend off and I hope to feel better soon.

lil' stinker
I discovered this weekend that when we use the small camera, which has a red light that lights up the face of the person you are taking a picture of, Jonathan scrunches up his face and gives a smile. I guess I have taken so many pictures he knows what is coming and wants to give a good photo! So it took a few shots to capture it but here we are doing the "lil' stinker" pose.

Moving, Moving, Moving
Jonathan really likes his walker, I have said that before. But now he is walking around in his size 5 Puma's that Grandma Ortiz got him. (Sadly they are fancier than any shows I own)

Jonathan is very popular with the girls. This is little Mia, she is an "older" lady, what a cougar! :) Jonathan is popular with everybody though, if we go anywhere like church we usually only hold him for 25% of the time.

PaPa
I feel bad that there hasn't been more posting lately, I am sorry about that. Just been so busy with work and church stuff I haven't had the time. The biggest update with Jonathan is how smart he is getting. He has always been smart, and knows how to get what he wants, but his vocabulary is coming along now. His favorite word seems to be PaPa, which he mostly says when I am not around, especially when I am talking to him over the phone. Sometimes when Edith isn't there he cries out MaMa, and every now and then we says "abue", which is short for abuelita, grandma in spanish.
He still isn't much for crawling, loves rolling though. He is really starting to cruise in his Sesame Street walker, so it looks like he may be walking before crawling, although Edith make sure to give him some "tummy time" whenever she can.

Football season is getting close and Jonathan is getting ready! Sorry about the lack of updates I have been swamped getting things ready for Espiritu and helping out with it. Espiritu was a play put on by the Larsson Bro's, it is the Gowans/Larsson "Spirit" musical but in spanish. It went great, but one of the main things I helped out with was setup and tear down, and being at all the last practices because I ran the projection. So now I am home and ready to relax a bit, bummer thing is now Edith, Jonathan, and me all are feeling sick with head colds. Jonathan is Jealous
